Soccer Friday: Miller picks Luton Town vs Middlesborough, Club Brugge vs Sint-Truden, and Dinamo Zagreb vs Gorica
English football is back!
Friday afternoon, newly promoted Luton Town will get a taste of the big time for the first time in over a decade. The club played top flight football in the 1990s, but in 2009, after it was docked 30 points for financial problems, Luton Town was relegated out of the Football League and into the Conference.
But the last few years have seen Luton make a phoenix-like rise from the ashes, with two straight promotions back into the EFL Championship. The Hatters will now open up English football play for the 2019-20 season with a home contest against Middlesborough.
It is pretty tough to call a winner here, so I went with both teams to score. Middlesborough has the experience in the playoff race from last season, but is still prone to giving up some goals.
