Les Bleus won that 1-0, and went on to lift the gold trophy on the weekend with a 4-2 win over Croatia, leaving Belgium to wonder, “What if?”
Now, the Red Devils have a shot to win the 2020 UEFA European Championship (EURO 2020). Actually, it is more than a shot: Belgium is one of the three favorites, behind France and what amounts to the hosts England.
Belgium should have no trouble in Group B, and really should go 3-0. Denmark is a dangerous side, and could make a deep run. Will Russia get enough points to qualify as the third place team?
