Is the Premier League title heading back to Manchester? Which color will the ribbons be?

By the end of this midweek slate, most teams in the Premier League will have played half their schedule. There are still a few (Everton and Aston Villa come to mind) that have game(s) in hand.

But right now, it sure looks like the trophy is heading back to Manchester for the 10th time since the start of the 2006-07 campaign. One thing is for sure: it will not be a London team. Sports books currently have City as the favorite (-170), just like it was before the season. That number dipped down into the plus-money, but it is clear that the Cityzens should be favored. United is currently listed around +600, behind Liverpool (+350).

Both Manchester clubs are in action Wednesday, with City hosting Villa, and United heading south to face Fulham. The Red Devils have not lost on their travels in over a calendar year, and in fact are on the best run of form in any of the major leagues around Europe. If you look at the form table, it is clear to see why United and City led the table coming into the round.

Can United find enough goals to win the game today, after another scoreless draw on the weekend? Will Aston Villa be able to keep up with Manchester City?

In the Championship, Norwich City looks to continue its quest to bounce right back to the top flight Wednesday at home against Bristol City.
