Boosted by Kylian Mbappe return, PSG looks to move into UEFA Champions League semifinals against depleted Atalanta — Miller has odds & picks
The one-legged UEFA Champions League games on one side of the bracket give some team a very good opportunity to make it to the final on August 23. For PSG and Atalanta, this game today comes at either a very good time, or a very poor one.
Atalanta will be without its keeper, Pierluigi Gollini, after he suffered a knee ligament injury. But it will also miss high-scoring forward Josep Ilicic, who is out on compassionate leave.
PSG got a huge boost Tuesday, as Kylian Mbappe trained, and will be in the squad Wednesday. I don’t know if he will start, but it would be a huge boost if he plays a part.
If you asked me about this game a month ago, I would have said Atalanta was a dark horse to win the whole thing.
But now, I think it could be PSG’s year.
