Soccer Thursday - Miller Picks Women’s World Cup, United States, Sweden, Cameroon, New Zealand; Copa America, CONCACAF Gold Cup,

Thursday marks the last day of the group stage at the 2019 Women's World Cup, and every game means something.

Four teams are alive to fill one of the four third place spots, and two of those teams will go head-to-head in Group E play, as Cameroon takes on New Zealand. With a multiple-goal win, either team would be assured of advancing.

But the big match of the day involves the two Group F titans, United States and Sweden. Many have said that the Americans have not been tested, and could come out slowly here. Do not count on that. This team is here to make a statement.

At the Copa America, it seems like only a few teams that look likely to win the tournament, and Uruguay is one of them. With a match against Japan to advance, expect Uruguay to make the most of it.

Costa Rica can join Mexico in the knockout stages with a win Thursday night over Bermuda at the Gold Cup, which is the same position Haiti is in if they can beat Nicaragua. Expect both to take care of business.
