Soccer: Miller picks FIFA U20 World Cup Action – New Zealand v Uruguay, Norway v Honduras, and USA v Qatar – also FC Lyiv v Shakhtar Donetsk

Two more groups at the FIFA U20 World Cup will be decided today: Group C and Group D.

The Americans will take the pitch today in Group D with a chance to qualify in their hands, as a heavy favorite against Qatar. With Nigeria and Ukraine playing in the other match, it could end up with three teams on six points, and come down to the tiebreak procedure.

In Group C, New Zealand and Uruguay have already advanced with six points apiece, and will face off for top spot in the group.

Also Thursday, Shakhtar Donetsk will hit the road in Ukrainian league play to take on FC Lyiv. Shakhtar is 46 points ahead of Lyiv in the standings, and has lost just one match all year. Expect that to stay the same.
