WNBA Wednesday Predictions 2 Player Props and Best Bet for May 21
Paige Bueckers and Dallas will take on Minnesota in Wednesday's WNBA action.

Paige Bueckers and Kelsey Plum take the court on Wednesday night after two tough losses in the early season for their squad. Bueckers looked much more comfortable in game two of her young career.

The former UConn star should be able to get to the rim and make some great plays against the Lynx tonight, while Kelsey Plum quite literally is the Los Angeles Sparks' offense and should shoot it 20 or more times tonight.

Paige Bueckers (DAL) OVER 20.5 Points & Assists

The WNBA welcomed Paige Bueckers to the league a few nights ago in a 15-point loss to Minnesota. Bueckers scored just 10 points and looked quite honestly like a rookie.

However, she bounced back with 19 points and 8 dimes in a close loss to Seattle in game two. Tonight, she plays Minnesota again in a game where she will have to hit this mark to keep it close.

Bueckers looked much better against the Storm, and she should continue her solid play after being able to get to the cup easily against Seattle in her 37 minutes of play.

Kelsey Plum (LA) OVER 22.5 Points

Kelsey Plum has been electric in her debut season in Los Angeles, dropping 37 points in their win over Golden State and 18 points in a loss to Minnesota.

Tonight, they will play a Phoenix team that will push the pace and score a ton of points, which is great for Plum, who will have the green light from the tip-off.

Plum had a poor shooting night against the Lynx but should be able to get to the rim more against a Phoenix team that lacks some size down low. KP has control of the offense in Los Angeles, and she should have a bounce-back game tonight as one of the top scorers in the league.

Best Bet: Mercury -5.5 over Sparks

While Plum should have a solid game, the Phoenix Mercury is the most underrated squad in the WNBA. Satou Sabally is a star, while Alyssa Thomas is a triple-double threat with or without superstar Kahleah Cooper in the lineup.

After an 81-59 victory over Seattle, this Phoenix team that is elite on both sides of the ball should hold Los Angeles to a tough shooting night.

The Mercury won the rebounding battle by +12 over Seattle in game one, which is a trend that should continue and give them the edge over the Sparks tonight.
