Caitlin Clark Under 6.5 Assists (-125)

We hate to be party-poopers but there is a ton of value in this Under, even though Clark is a very skilled passer. Clark’s median assist total for the season is 6, but I would adjust that down slightly because of the matchup against Washington. The Mystics allow the 3rd fewest amount of assists per game so far this year.

Need a few more trends to support the Under on this prop? No problemo! Clark has stayed under this assists number in 9 of her 15 games as a pro. She’s also stayed under this total in 5 of her last 6 ball games.

Clark is an aggressive defender, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. That being said, she has committed 3 or more fouls in 8 of her outings this season. That could mean fewer minutes on the floor and more time on the bench. Let’s hold our breath and take the Under!

Aliyah Boston Under 14.5 Points (-128)

I like Boston as a post-player, but I don’t understand this line. Her points median this season is just 12, so we’re getting some nice value in that regard with a 2.5-point cushion. The former South Carolina star has stayed under this total in 11 of her 15 games in 2024.

Sure, Boston has the overall size (6’5”, 220 lbs) to be a dominant force in this league. However, the former No. 1 overall pick gets a tough matchup against Washington’s post players. The Mystics have the 2nd best paint defense in the WNBA (33.4 points per game allowed).

Our main concern with this play is Boston’s current form. She has gone over this total in 2 straight games, as she scored 19 against Chicago and 27 against Atlanta. That being said, we have to trust our numbers and play the Under!

Aaliyah Edwards Under 7.5 Rebounds (-104)

We might as well make it a clean sweep with Unders for our first WNBA card of the season. At 6’3”, Edwards has the height to be among the league leaders in rebounding. However, Edwards will be competing with Aliyah Boston (who we already mentioned was 6’5”) for boards in this one.

For the season, Edwards has a median rebounding number of just 5.5. I get that Indiana isn’t that great at crashing the boards, but is that worth a 33% adjustment? Edwards has grabbed 6 rebounds or less in 9 of her 14 games so far this year.

Still not convinced that the Under is the play in this spot? Even with an uptick in minutes, Edwards has still stayed under this rebounding total in 2 of her last 3 games. Let’s take this Under at reduced juice to close out the card.
