Thiessen's Sunday NHL Picks: Winnipeg Jets at Montreal Canadiens, Colorado Avalanche at Vegas Golden Knights
Montreal, Colorado, both look to move one game away from NHL final four
I have to say, the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs have so far lived up to the billing as the most exciting postseason in professional sports.
Every game has been competitive, and from contest to contest, we have no idea what we are going to get.
You want 10 goals? You got it: Tampa Bay 6, Carolina 4.
You want a series that looks like it is going to go the distance? That can be arranged: NY Islanders 4-1 win last night to even that series at 2-2.
Tonight, there are two series that we will know if they will be long, or they might be over in two days: Colorado at Vegas, and Winnipeg at Montreal.
I think Colorado will be refocused tonight after the loss, and I have to think this is the last stand for Winnipeg: if the Jets lose, it is lights out.
