WILD at AVALANCHE, 8:30 p.m. (NBCSN)
Minnesota (6-4-0) and Colorado (6-3-1) have strikingly similar records, but have gotten there in strikingly different ways.
The Wild has just a +1 goal differential on the season (29/28), while the ‘Lanche is at +13 (36/23), second-best in the entire league (Canadiens +15).
Colorado’s first win was an 8-0 whitewash of the Blues back on Oct. 15. Before a overtime loss to the Wild Sunday, the Avalanche had won three in a row by four, three and four goals, the last a 5-1 beat-up of Minny.
