Flyers (15-16-4) +180 @ Lightning (28-7-2) -230

Pick: Over 6.5 (-110)
Pick: Lightning money line (-230)

The last time these two teams met on Nov. 17, they put up a collective 11 goals, with the Lightning barely managing to hang on to the win. Look for a similar ending here. Tampa is well-oiled machine, having won three straight and riding a 9-0-1 unbeaten streak. No reason to think that ends here.

The over, however, is more interesting. We’ve seen that when these two teams get together they can run up the score so it would stand to reason that the books have this game’s over at 6.5, the highest of the night. We feel confident that these teams can put up seven between the Lightning with F Brayden Point and F Nikita Kucherov and the Flyers with F Claude Giroux and F Jakub Voracek. Heck, these two teams could put up 12 on a good night. We feel confident with the over in this game and even moreso with the Lightning.
