The Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs has been nothing short of spectacular to this point. With so many close games and fourth-quarter heroes establishing themselves over the past two days, one can only hope that tonight’s matchup will provide similar theatrics.

The Houston Texans are heading to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in what should be a solid defensive battle. Can the aging, but still effective, Aaron Rodgers hold up against C.J. Stroud and the Texans’ stout defense? We’ll soon see. Let’s get into our top Underdog player props from this one!

Aaron Rodgers OVER 204.5 Passing Yards

Father Time is still undefeated, and Rodgers’ time in the NFL is going to be done soon. But we think the old guy still has a few tricks left up his sleeve, and he’s not ready to go quietly into the night.

Rodgers was masterful against the Baltimore Ravens in a must-win game last week, putting up nearly 300 yards and a touchdown. He put the Steelers’ offense on his back, something we think he’ll need to do again in this one.

The Texans’ defense is a lot better than the Ravens’, but it shouldn’t be a problem to hit the 205-yard mark, if for no other reason than his years of experience, especially in the playoffs.

C.J. Stroud OVER 228.5 Passing Yards

We went back and forth but ultimately decided to take the over on C.J. Stroud’s passing total. Stroud has been up and down all season, but it’s hard to deny what he’s done in the four playoff games of his career.

He’s had over 230 passing yards in three of those four contests, including a 245-yard game against the Kansas City Chiefs’ solid defense last season. Stroud’s regular-season numbers from this season might not be impressive, but his track record speaks for itself. Look for another strong playoff game from Stroud to keep his team alive.

Nico Collins OVER 71.5 Receiving Yards

If Stroud is going to have a big game, it’ll likely be due to a strong performance from Nico Collins, who has been his favorite target since being drafted.

Collins has the potential to go for 100+ in any game he’s a part of, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to rack up 72+ receiving yards. Stroud doesn’t have many elite weapons outside of Collins, so look for him to call his number a lot to send his team to the next round of the playoffs.
