The NFL playoffs are kicking off this weekend, marking an incredible weekend in the football world. College Football semifinals are going down on Thursday and Friday, and the NFL’s slate runs from Saturday afternoon until Monday evening. There are so many great games scheduled, so we’re looking forward to kicking back, relaxing, and taking in some fantastic performances.
With that in mind, we’ve got you covered with some of the top player props from each game, including Sunday’s battle between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars.
This will be the first meeting between these teams this season, but considering they are two of the AFC’s best, it’s among the most anticipated games of the slate. Let’s get into it!
There might not have been a better, more consistent quarterback in the second half of the regular season than Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence led the Jaguars to eight-straight wins to close out the season, a feat that allowed them to overtake the AFC South comfortably.
He’s been so good for so long, and there’s just no way we can fade him, especially against Buffalo’s weak defense. This game has the makings of a shootout, and we’re confident in Lawrence’s ability to do his part, should that happen down the stretch.
The Jaguars’ midseason addition of Jakobi Meyers might be one of the most underrated moves in the league. He’s been a much-needed target boost for Lawrence, especially with Brian Thomas Jr. being a shell of himself compared to his rookie season.
Meyers had individual games with 64, 71, and 90 yards after joining the Jaguars, and we think he’s in line for a similar workload in this one. The Bills’ defense is Swiss cheese, and this duo should take full advantage of that from the jump.
Don’t be fooled by Brandin Cooks’ performance from last week, a game where he had four catches for 101 yards. He only had five combined targets in his previous four games with the Bills, so we’re not expecting much from him in this matchup.
Instead, look for Josh Allen to have more success checking the ball down to his running backs and leaning on the two-headed monster the Bills have at tight end.
