Welcome to the NFL Playoffs, sports betting family. The 2025-26 season has flown by, and it's been loaded with lots of fun and drama. It's been an up-and-down season for our NFL best bets and props, but we're still sitting at around +6.5 units of profit.

I can't wait for this Wildcard Round matchup between the Bills and the Jaguars. Both of these teams have plenty of firepower on offense, so this one should be an exciting tilt. Check out my best bet for Buffalo vs. Jacksonville below. Good luck and enjoy the game.

Betting Odds for Bills vs Jaguars

Online sportsbooks opened this line at Buffalo -1 on the lookahead line a few days ago. A little bit of money has come in on the Bills, so much so that the line is now sitting at Buffalo -1.5 at the time of this writing.

As for the game total, there's been no major movement in the market so far. The line opened at 51.5, and most shops are still offering that same number. As always, be sure to shop around for the best price before pulling the trigger on any bet.

Is This the Year for Josh Allen and Buffalo?

Josh Allen continues to be one of the most dynamic QBs in all of football. The big fella from Wyoming has thrown for 3668 yards and 25 TDs so far this season. He's also found the end zone 14 times on the ground.

Allen gets most of the pub, and rightfully so. However, this Bills offense is anchored by a solid offensive line and the legs of RB James Cook. The former Georgia star has run for 1621 and 12 TDs already this year.

The Bills' secondary has been excellent against the pass, as they rank 4th in yards per pass allowed. Safety Cole Bishop leads the team in both tackles and interceptions. However, Buffalo's only bugaboo has been stopping the run.

Can Liam Coen Keep Surprising Everyone?

Not a lot was made about Jacksonville hiring Liam Coen, but it's turned out to be one of the best coaching hires in a long time. Coen has found a way to get the best out of the Jags, much to the delight of their fans.

Trevor Lawrence has silenced the critics around the league by turning in a fabulous season. The former Clemson standout has thrown for 4007 yards and 29 touchdowns this year. He does have 12 interceptions, so he'll need to limit his tight window throws against this aggressive Buffalo secondary.

Jacksonville's defense struggles to generate pressure, but the secondary does a phenomenal job of limiting big plays. The Jags rank 3rd in yards per pass allowed and 5th in yards per rush allowed. That's some serious defensive balance if I've ever seen it.

Jaguars +1.5 (-110) (2 Units) (BetMGM)

BUF vs JAX: 1:00 PM ET on January 11

Jacksonville has won 8 straight games, and I don't see them breaking that streak here at home. Their last loss was way back on November 9th at Houston, a game that they gave away late. That setback seemed to galvanize this Jags team, as they've been blowing teams out ever since.

Buffalo is a solid squad, but they've looked inept at times on the road this year. Three of the Bills' five losses have been on the highway, including head-scratchers vs. the Dolphins and the Falcons. As talented as this team is, it just seems like they're still missing that final piece of the puzzle.

The Bills' Achilles heel all year long has been their lack of run defense. That could spell trouble if Travis Etienne gets it going on the ground. Also, don't forget about how nifty Trevor Lawrence can be with his legs. The Jags will take this one by field goal late.

Trends I Love:

  • JAX is 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games

  • BUF is just 6-9 ATS as a favorite this season

  • BUF is just 3-8 ATS after a win this season
