If you’re under the impression that Week 11 of the NFL season has been weird thus far, you’re not alone. There have been a lot of surprising results thus far, and for those of us who play fantasy football, many of the studs we’ve come to depend on every week didn’t show up, making for some frustrating matchups.
We’re certainly hoping for a great game tonight, as the Dallas Cowboys are heading to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders. Oddsmakers are projecting this one to be high-scoring, with an over/under of 49.5, but we’ll see how it all plays out. Let’s dive into our favorite player props from this matchup, hoping to make this primetime game that much more enjoyable!
We’re not going to bury the lead here, as we are expecting this to be a good old-fashioned shootout between the Cowboys and Raiders.
Dak Prescott hasn’t had a ton of ‘boom’ games this season, only throwing for 260+ on four occasions, but this is the perfect opportunity to have a massive game, potentially having 300+ by the end of it.
The Raiders’ passing defense is suspect at best, and we’re expecting Prescott to exploit that from the jump, hopefully flying over this line with ease.
Geno Smith has been a shell of his former self to this point in the season, as he’s thrown his fair share of interceptions and made a lot of questionable decisions.
However, we anticipate that this will change tonight, considering Dallas has allowed the third-most passing yards per game on the season.
Smith can be a gun-slinger when necessary, and considering our prediction for Prescott, we believe he’s going to have to throw the ball a ton for the Raiders to stay in this one. Don’t overthink the over in this spot.
Brock Bowers missed some time with an injury, causing some people to forget how dominant a player he was when he was out. He reminded them of his prowess against the Jacksonville Jaguars, putting up an impressive performance of 12 catches for 127 yards and three touchdowns.
While we don’t think his ceiling is quite that high in this game, we do think he’s in for another big game, so we’re taking the over on his receiving yardage total.
Smith needs to throw the ball to someone, and Bowers is his favorite, so our decision was easy in that regard.
