Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will face Jalen Hurts and the Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch in Week 2.

We have two teams looking to avenge their Week 1 losses as they play familiar foes. The New England Patriots and Drake Maye had a very average performance at home last week.

They should play much better on both sides of the ball against this Miami team, trending in the completely wrong direction. The defending champions head to Arrowhead, where I am backing Reid, Mahomes, and Kelce to get the job done on both sides of the ball as they look to move to 1-1 on the year.

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins looked like the worst team in football last week. After the first read, Tua was simply lost against the Colts' defense and against a Pats defense that has some real playmakers.

I’m expecting a low-scoring AFC East battle on Sunday. Drake Maye played a very average Week 1 against the Raiders and should have a bounce-back week against a Dolphins defense that allowed a score on each possession to Daniel Jones and the Colts.

Best Bet: Patriots +1.5

Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes looked good in Week 1, but it wasn’t enough in Brazil to defeat the red-hot Chargers. The Eagles were shockingly never in full control of their Week 1 victory at home against the Cowboys, scoring 24 points in a game that felt slow and almost painful at times.

With Mahomes full of confidence and the receiving core really coming together, I like Travis Kelce to have a big day and KC to get their revenge at home against the Super Bowl champions.

Mahomes hasn’t lost two straight regular-season games since the end of the 2023 regular season. Mahomes, Kelce, and Reid strike again here.

Best Bet: Chiefs +1.5

Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have a much-improved defense, and with Kyler Murray playing his first game at home this season, I think the K1 to Trey McBride connection hits Carolina in the chest here as the Cardinals walk away with an easy victory.

If you remember, at the end of last season, Arizona had a chance at a playoff berth and completely squandered it against the Panthers in a 30-36 loss.

This Arizona defense is better than last season and should come up big time against Bryce Young as they get revenge for their brutal 2024 loss.

Best Bet: Cardinals -6.5
