Our Staff's Best Anytime Touchdown Player Props for NFL Week 1
NFL Week 1 starts and ends with Mike Evans of Tampa Bay!

2024 was a rough first year for our NFL Anytime TD props, as we went 40-68 for a loss of 9.23 units. Ashley took home the top prize with an 8-6 record for a profit of 5.25 units. That's a pretty darn good ROI for her!

Anyway, it's a new season and we're eager to move forward! Our staff gives out their best Anytime Touchdown props below. Best of luck, folks! Let's get off to a hot start!

Malley: Mike Evans (+120) (FanDuel)

TBA at ATL - 1:00 PM EST

To kick off the 2025 NFL season, I’m rolling with Mike Evans. The guy’s a vet who still gets it done year after year. Last year: 1,004 yards and 11 TDs. Rock solid. Sure, he’s had some injury hiccups, but hey, it’s Week 1. Fresh legs, clear eyes, full heart...

Did you know that since 2016, Evans has played in 9 season openers and scored in 7 of them… for 8 total TDs. That means nearly 8% of his career touchdowns have come in Week 1. Do the math yourself, I’ll wait.

And the Bucs are at Atlanta. That doesn’t scare me, and it shouldn’t scare you. Vegas has this one pegged as a shootout, O/U at 47.5 with the Bucs as slight 2.5-point favorites. Perfect recipe for an Evans to haul one in. Consensus is +110, but if you shop around, the best line I can find is +120. Happy hunting!

Matty B: James Cook (+105) (DraftKings)

BAL at BUF - 8:20 PM EST

For Week 1, I'm taking James Cook for an anytime TD because everything lines up for him to punch one in. The Bills are playing at home, in a prime-time revenge game, with one of the most efficient red-zone offenses in the league — and Cook’s the engine behind their dominant ground game.

He had 16 rushing touchdowns last season, with 12 of those coming inside the 20, so when Buffalo gets close, it’s usually him or Allen finishing the drive, and teams struggle containing both of them. Of course, Baltimore’s run defense is no joke, but they did give up 3 rushing TDs to the Bills in the playoffs. That means they’re penetrable, and Cook didn’t even play much in that one.

Now he’s healthy, paid, and in a clear lead-back role. If the Ravens hone in on Allen’s legs at the goal line, and you can bet they will, like they did in January, Cook should find enough daylight to cash this bet.

Nobz: Mark Andrews (+190) (BetMGM)

BAL at BUF - 8:20 PM EST

I'm anxious to redeem myself after a rough 4-8 performance in 2024. Contrary to popular belief, finding value in the Anytime TD market is a whole heck of a lot harder than it looks. You can lay -200 or -300 on Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry, but the juice will kill you off long-term.

Anyway, let's talk about Mr. Andrews. Y'all just know he's dying for redemption after blowing the playoff game last year when he dropped the potential game-tying 2-point conversion against this same Bills squad.

Something tells me that John Harbaugh and Lamar Jackson will try their best to get Big Mark a tuddy in his return to Buffalo. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that the big fella found the end zone 11 times last season. I'll gladly take the +190 price. Reeeeeal Nice, Clark!

Chris: David Montgomery (+155) (DraftKings)

DET at GB - 4:25 PM EST

Matty B and I are already in midseason smacking-talking form, and I just can't resist picking Monty in Week 1 just to mess with him a little more. I get that Montgomery missed a couple of games last year and that he splits carries with Jahmyr Gibbs.

That being said, any price on Monty at plus money is an insult to Dan Campbell and this massive Lions offensive line. The 5'11', 230-pounder found the end zone 12 times in 2024. I think he scores at least once against this overrated Green Bay defense. Giddy Up!

Mitch: Brian Thomas, Jr. (+130) (DraftKings)

CAR at JAX - 1:00 PM EST

It’s week one of NFL football, and we’re back, baby! For the first Sunday of the year, I have my eyes on Brian Thomas Jr. After an outstanding rookie season, the second-year player from LSU is poised to be Trevor Lawrence’s primary target all year.

Last season, Thomas had a fantastic year with 10 touchdowns. With his elite size and speed, he’s easily the best WR on Jacksonville and will likely be a top 10 WR this year. Taking on the Panthers in week one in Jacksonville, Thomas should thrive against a weak defense. The Panthers finished at the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency.

They allowed nearly 4000 passing yards last year and 35 passing touchdowns, the most in the league. They made some improvements on defense, but they’ll have a long way to go to slow down Thomas. With the offense also shaky, Jacksonville could dominate possession time, giving Thomas an excellent opportunity to score a touchdown

Ant: Alvin Kamara (+105) (Bet365)

AZ at NO - 1:00 PM EST

Week 1 NFL is here, and so is the anytime touchdown party! I'm starting off the year with Alvin Kamara to find the end zone. Let's be honest, there isn't a whole lot to be happy about if you are a Saints fan, but if I had to pick one, it would be Mr. Kamara.

Coming off one of his less exciting years doesn't bode too well with the pick; however, he tends to start the season out quickly. Last year, he scored all 6 of his TDs within the first 6 games, with one game being a 3 TD scoring game for him.

I expect nothing less than an aggressive start again this year. I hope you all enjoy the games and look forward to a long season!
