The first round of the NFL playoffs is officially in the books, moving us to the divisional round. There weren’t as many close matchups in the first round as fans hoped, but we anticipate that trend will shift this weekend.
Only 8 teams remain, and this weekend’s games are crucial in determining the four teams that’ll make up the NFC and AFC Championships. We will break down our favorite Underdog player props from all four games, this time, going through arguably the most highly anticipated matchup of the weekend, which is between the Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills.
The Ravens are a one-point favorite, effectively making this game a pick-em. It will be great to see two of the AFC’s best teams going head-to-head, and we can’t wait to see what happens. Let’s dive into the player props from this one, hoping to sweep Underdog’s board!
We have to ride with the king again this week. Derrick Henry has been nothing short of spectacular all season, bringing the Ravens’ offense to the next level.
He’s made Lamar Jackson a better passer, and with the threat of Henry breaking off for a big run at any point, Jackson’s run game has also improved. Henry has rushed for 100+ yards in four straight weeks, including a 186-yard performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.
It might seem like a lot of yards for a player to achieve in the postseason, but if anyone can achieve 96+ yards on the ground in this one, it’s Henry.
There has been a lot of chatter surrounding both quarterbacks heading into this matchup. Both QBs have been great regular season players but slightly faltered when it has come to playoff performances throughout their respective careers.
This is their time to shine, and for Josh Allen, it’s a chance for him to take down Jackson and put up a dominant performance. He needs a big game to silence his doubters, and we have faith that he’ll deliver.
This game could turn into a shootout, and if it does, look for Allen to throw for at least 250 yards, using his arm to try and help the Bills win this one.
At this point in the season, it’s something of a crapshoot in terms of who will rise to the top in the Bills’ receiving game. They lack a true alpha, and while they’ve had players put up big performances, Allen isn’t too picky.
In a must-win game, he’ll want to turn to the most reliable pass-catchers in this offense, which is why we believe Amari Cooper could have at least two catches.
Cooper hasn’t necessarily been a big threat on the Bills, but given his years of experience, we like his chances of logging at least two receptions in this game.
