The first round of the NFL playoffs is officially in the books, moving us to the divisional round. There weren’t as many close matchups in the first round as fans hoped, but we anticipate that trend will shift this weekend.

Only 8 teams remain, and this weekend’s games are crucial in determining the four teams that’ll make up the NFC and AFC Championships. We will break down our favorite Underdog player props from all four games, this time, going through the matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles are 6.5-point favorites in this matchup, but will the Rams’ experience and Matthew Stafford’s dominant playoff record with the team hold up? We’ll soon find out. Let’s dive into the player props, hoping to sweep Underdog’s board!

Jalen Hurts OVER 24.5 Passing Attempts

We’re projecting this game to be a back-and-forth battle, a game that ends up a lot closer than the oddsmakers project. We’re leaning towards the Rams winning this game, but that’s not what this is all about.

Jalen Hurts and Matthew Stafford could get into a shootout, and if that happens, we like both players to put up big passing numbers. Hurts doesn’t necessarily rack up a ton of 250+ yard passing games, but we do think he’s going to throw the ball a lot more than he usually does.

With that in mind, look for Hurts to hit the over on his passing attempts line, throwing at least 25 times to keep the Eagles in this game.

Matthew Stafford OVER 220.5 Passing Yards

Stafford has a 5-1 record with the Rams in the playoffs. He’s not going down without a fight, and he and Sean McVay might have a lot up their sleeves to try and keep the Eagles on their toes.

Stafford put up 367 yards in a loss to the Detroit Lions in the playoffs last year, and he threw for 220+ yards in three of the Rams’ four games en route to the Super Bowl in 2022.

This is not the time for a dud game from the veteran, which is why we’re taking the over on his passing yardage prop, especially since it’s set at 220.5.

Puka Nacua OVER 86.5 Receiving Yards

Puka Nacua has been a beast since returning from injury. His connection with Stafford has only gotten better with age, and we’re expecting him to be a big part of this game.

Nacua had 117 yards against the Eagles earlier this season, showing that he can break through against some of the league’s best secondaries.

We’re projecting him to eclipse the 100-yard mark in this one, hoping this prop is sweat-free.
