Thursday night’s NFC West showdown between the Rams and 49ers is delivering plenty of player prop options for sports bettors. The 49ers are coming into the game as favorites, riding their dominant defense and fairly efficient offense, while the Rams come in with just a few offensive sparks.

To help you make the most of this TNF clash, we’ve found 5 of the best player prop bets for you to load up your bet slip with.

Kyren Williams Over 73.5 Rushing Yards

  • Player Prop Odds: -110

Williams has been an absolute workhorse for the Rams. He leads their ground game with a staggering 1,013 rushing yards on the season and doesn’t look like he’s slowing down at all.

Over the last 2 games, he’s averaged 92 yards per game against pretty robust defenses like New Orleans and Buffalo.

Sure, the 49ers’ rushing defense is tough, ranking 12th, but they’ve given up some big games to powerhouse RBs, allowing 138 yards on the ground to the Bills in Week 13 alone. They’re vulnerable and we think Williams will exploit that.

With the Rams leaning on Williams to control the pace, 74 yards seems like an easily manageable number for one of the league’s most consistent and dominant running backs. His volume alone — 18.5 rushing attempts per game — gives this bet strong value even if it’s not the best odds we’ve seen on a player prop.

Brock Purdy Under 245.5 Passing Yards

  • Player Prop Odds: -115

Brock Purdy has been efficient this season, but he hasn’t consistently hit big passing totals. This might be due to a lack of confidence as he doesn’t necessarily hit explosive plays. Nonetheless, he’s gone under 245.5 yards in 3 of his last 5 games, including matchups against somewhat weaker pass defenses like Tampa Bay and Green Bay. If he can’t crush the yardage on them, LA isn’t looking like it’ll be the chance.

The Rams rank 24th against the pass. On the surface, this might seem like a weakness Purdy can exploit. However, you have to keep in mind that San Francisco’s offensive style emphasizes balance, especially when they’re playing with a lead.

With the Niners likely leaning on their running game to attack the Rams’ 28th-ranked rushing defense, we’re thinking Purdy could once again have a solid but unspectacular night through the air. There may be a TD or 2 thrown by him, but the big yardage will come on the ground.

George Kittle Over 4.5 Receptions

  • Player Prop Odds: -105

George Kittle has been heating up and that makes him a prime candidate for an NFL prop bet.

With 10 receptions over the past 2 games and 56 catches on the season, he’s definitely accelerating his role as a receiver.

Against a Rams defense that ranks 24th in passing yards allowed and struggles against TEs, Kittle should see plenty of targets, though, as we mentioned, nothing explosive. But that doesn’t matter for this bet.

To top that off, the Rams have allowed big games to athletic tight ends, so we see San Francisco leveraging Kittle a bit more.

Given Kittle’s ability to create mismatches and the 49ers’ knack for using him in play-action style plays, this line at just 4.5 catches feels too low to pass up. The near-even odds only add to the value here, though, we wish it was a bit higher.

Puka Nacua Longest Reception Over 25.5 Yards

  • Player Prop Odds: -115

Puka Nacua has come out as a big-play threat for the Rams. He’s averaging 13.1 yards per catch this season and looking like the dominant WR he is. With Matthew Stafford back under center, Nacua has seen more downfield opportunities, highlighted by 29-yard and 37-yard catches over the past few weeks.

The 49ers’ defense is strong overall, but they’ve been vulnerable to explosive plays. They’ve allowed 4 completions of 30+ yards in their last 3 games. Nacua’s ability to stretch the field makes this an exciting prop, especially with Stafford likely needing to push the ball downfield to keep pace with the 49ers.

At -115 odds, it’s not the best of the bunch, but we’ll take the easy money.

Christian Rozeboom Over 9.5 Tackles + Assists

  • Player Prop Odds: +110

Rozeboom has been a tackling machine for the Rams. He’s recorded double-digit tackles in 3 straight games. Facing a 49ers offense that thrives on short, quick passes and a heavy dose of the run game, we think that Rozeboom should have plenty of opportunities to pile up stops for this TNF prop bet.

San Francisco’s offense often forces linebackers into action. This is especially true with screens and runs that get to the second level.

At plus money, this bet has excellent value for a player averaging 11 tackles per game over his last 4 outings. We don’t see him getting any less than that this Thursday.
