There hasn't been much movement on the side in this game. The look-ahead line was Arizona -2.5 and that's where most online sportsbooks are still pricing this divisional rivalry. A slight uptick in Cardinals money has sent this point spread to Arizona -3 at a few shops.
As for the total, there's been an appetite for the Under from some of the sharpest sports bettors in the industry. The line opened at 46.5 but is now at 45. Most folks are probably expecting another low-scoring slugfest between two teams that know each other quite well.
Seattle has been playing solid football of late, as they've won three straight ball games over San Fran, Arizona, and the New York Jets. After a rough start to 2024, the Seahawks' defense has really stepped things up. They held the Cardinals to just six points back on November 24th.
Geno Smith has looked kind of like Dr. Jekyl / Mr. Hyde this season. He's thrown for a ton of yardage (3241), but he's thrown almost as many picks (12) as touchdown passes (13). Arizona's pass rush will look to force Smith into some poor decisions in this outing.
The Seahawks have struggled against the run this season, so that's a bit of a concern if you are thinking of backing them in this spot. However, Seattle's secondary ranks 11th in yards per pass allowed and 12th in points per game allowed.
Arizona has lost two straight games, but they've outperformed most people's expectations so far this season. The Cardinals are currently 6-6 and tied for 2nd place in the NFC West. They need a victory over Seattle to keep their hopes of a division crown alive.
Kyler Murray threw a couple of costly picks in last week's loss to Minnesota, but the former Heisman Trophy winner is still having a good season. He's thrown for 2,603 yards and 13 touchdowns so far in 2024. Murray's favorite target has been Trey McBride, who has caught 73 passes for 781 yards.
Arizona's defense is nothing special, but they've shown some improvement as the season has gone on. The Cards rank a respectable 13th at stopping the run but just 20th against the pass. Dante Stills leads the team with 4.5 sacks and Zaven Collins isn't too far behind with 4.

A lot of sharps are taking Seattle in this spot, but I like Arizona to get some sweet revenge on their home turf. A quick look at the box score from two weeks ago shows that Arizona outgained Seattle in both yards per play and total yardage.
I'm expecting a better effort from the Cards in the red zone this time around. I also look for Arizona to do much better with their third-down offense. Let's lay the small number here before it hits -3 everywhere.
