Can Brock Bowers find the end zone for us in Week 14?

It was an awful performance for our NFL Anytime TD props in Week 13, as we went 1-9 to run our season-long record to 26-43. That means that we've fallen back in the red for the season with a deficit of -8.13 units. Can we get a big bounce-back outing in Week 14?

Ant: Bucky Irving (-111) (Caesars)

LV at TB - 1:00 PM EST

What a run that was but we are back on earth after suffering our first loss in 4 weeks with the anytime TDS! I'm taking Bucky Irving anytime TD this week at -111 on Caesars. We got a win with the other back for the Buccaneers Rachaad White a couple of weeks ago and we are in a similar spot here again.

Tampa Bay is welcoming the Raiders to their home field and just like the Giants couldn't stop the Bucs, the 2-10 Raiders won't either. Bucky has 6 TDs on the year with 3 coming in the last 3 weeks. He also got 25 carries in the previous game, which is far and above the most carries he's had in a game this season.

He will have plenty of opportunities to punch one in for us. If Bucky doesn't go on Sunday, I like Rachaad White in this spot as the single back taking all the carries for the Bucs at -115 on DraftKings! Let's get back in the win column!

Mitch: Brock Bowers (+175) (Bet365)

LV at TB - 1:00 PM EST

We’re going for the big man out of Georgia this week, Brock Bowers. He’s been one of the most electric rookies this year and the Raiders' only consistent pass catcher since Davante Adams's departure. Bowers has surged in targets and yards, beating out WRs like Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker. He’s well on his way to having a 1,000-yard season, sitting at 884 this week.

With five weeks left, that seems more than doable. But we’re not here for yards; we’re here for TDs. That’s one place this Raiders offense has struggled in general. They don’t put points on the board with such a thin roster. They’ve only had five games scoring over 20 points, with no games over 30. TDs are hard to come by in Vegas, but I think the Bucs are vulnerable to giving up some points this weekend.

The Bucs are near the bottom in defensive yards allowed, giving up 375 total yards and 258 receiving yards on average. Along with being a porous defense in general, they’re the worst in the league at defending receiving TEs. They allow the most average yards at 66 yards a game. With Bowers already being this team's most significant target threat, he’ll have an excellent shot at landing a TD on Sunday!

Malley: Grant Calcaterra (+490) (FanDuel)

CAR at PHI - 1:00 PM EST

Honorable mention to Trey McBride. That makes back-to-back dominant games with no TDs to show for it. Keep it up. I wish nothing but the best TDs for you. But I think it's time we started to see other people. If Dallas Goedert is ruled out, I want Grant Calcaterra. I have a type and it's TEs that don't have a TD on the year.

Now, we can't talk about Calcaterra without talking about Goedert and the Eagle TE usage. This tandem has been very good all year. Goedert is the starter and gets nearly all of the looks if it's a two TE formation, even when Calcaterra is on the field. However, Calcaterra filled in very nicely when taking the snaps for an injured Goedert. With Goedert sidelined in weeks 6 to 9 Calcaterra combined for 160 yards and 13 catches on 13 targets. Not far off from Goedert averages.

The Eagles are not afraid to use Calcaterra the same way they use Goedert. The Eagles starting TE would be the 11th-best PPR fantasy TE this season. Calcaterra is well-liked in that locker room and only ingratiated himself more when his fumble recovery in week 11 saved the game. And in that moment, it was his TE partner Goedert who dropped the ball.

The Eagles host the Panthers at 1 pm on Sunday. Carolina comes to town as 13-point dogs and with the 32nd ranked D vs the TE. This would be Calcaterra's first start since that fumble recovery. The Eagles need a win to keep pace with the Lions for a shot at the NFC lead and a playoff bye week.

This feels like a great opportunity to spread the ball out and reward Calcaterra with an endzone opportunity or two or three or four. There are no TD lines for Goedert due to his questionable status, but if he is healthy and gets that start put me down for an anytime TD if the odds are +160 or better.

Nobs: Amari Cooper (+165) (BetMGM)

BUF at LAR - 4:25 PM EST

DeVonta Smith was a scratch for us last week, but I'm going back to another former Alabama wideout in Week 14. Yes, I know the Bills prefer to pound the rock in the red zone with either Josh Allen or James Cook, but I can't ignore this good price on Mr. Cooper.

The Bills' wide receiver room is still a bit banged up, as Curtis Samuel and Keon Coleman are both listed as questionable to play. This should mean more red zone targets for Coop, especially if the Rams defense loads the box to try to stop the run. In an ode to one of the most underrated sitcoms of all-time, we're "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" this week!

Ashley: Cooper Kupp (+155) (Caesars)

BUF at LAR - 4:25 PM EST

Nobs stole my thunder with Amari, but I'm still counting on another Cooper in Week 14. Despite missing a ton of time with injuries, Mr. Kupp still leads the Rams in targets, receptions, and yards.

When the going gets tough, Matthew Stafford loves to look Kupp's way, and I look for him to do that quite often in this game. The Bills have a very good pass defense, but an offensive guru like Sean McVay always finds ways to get Kupp open. Give me this nice price on the real Mr. Cooper and I'll keep trying to carry our staff on my shoulders. :)

Matty B: Marvin Harrison Jr. (+170) (BetMGM)

SEA at AZ - 4:05 PM EST

Marvin Harrison Jr. is my pick for an anytime touchdown this week as the Cardinals take on the Seahawks in Week 14. I know most are going to like Conner more for an anytime TD but hear me out.

Despite some inefficiencies, Harrison remains the focal point of Arizona’s passing attack. Just look at his team-leading 12 targets in Week 13. His ability to stretch the field and create scoring opportunities makes him one of the most dangerous weapons on the field, even against a relatively strong Seattle pass defense that ranks 13th in the league. They’re decent, but not impenetrable.

Harrison's high average depth of target, paired up with his red-zone usage (that’s the key), gives him a huge upside for this bet, especially in a divisional game where Arizona will look to take advantage of every scoring opportunity that comes their way.

With the Cardinals committed to getting him the ball, I don’t see any other way than Harrison finding the endzone at least once this game — if not more.

Chris: Quentin Johnston (+250) (DraftKings)

LAC at KC - 8:20 PM EST

Due primarily to injuries to the secondary, the Kansas City Chiefs have found a way to go from the best defense in the NFL to the worst. They have allowed the 2nd most yards and touchdowns to opposing receivers over the last 4 weeks.

That’s a stretch of games that includes the Broncos, Bills, Panthers, and Raiders… not exactly the best receiving corps in the league. With 6 touchdowns in 10 games and +250 odds on DraftKings, Quentin Johnston is my favorite anytime TD bet this week.

He’s expected to avoid Trent McDuffie for most of the game, leaving him with a favorable matchup against either Nazeeh Johnson or Chamarri Conner. Both corners are allowing over 1.34 yards per route covered. Chiefs' kingdom may have the best BBQ in the league, but their secondary will serve up touchdowns like free samples on Sunday.

ZP: Tee Higgins (+135) (DraftKings)

CIN at DAL - 8:15 PM EST (Monday)

Joe Burrow and company finally are stringing it together. Cincy has scored 38, 27, 34, and 41 points in their last 4 contests. There has been a ton of buzz around this offense, which seemingly has come into form at the right time (but maybe too little too late for Cincy to play in January?).

Regardless, fantasy owners and Bengals fans alike have to be encouraged by the scoring. Tee Higgins is often overshadowed by the #1 WR in football this year, Jamarr Chase. I like Higgins because he’s just an assassin in zone coverage. With Trevon Diggs possibly on the bench yet again this week, I like Higgins to make big plays, and cash out in the first 2 quarters.
