Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and there are many things to be thankful for this year! We’re grateful for the three-game NFL slate, which concludes with a matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins.
This should be a great game, as the Dolphins’ offense is starting to heat up, which is ironic given the predicted cold temperatures at Lambeau. Will the Packers' defense hold up against this potentially high-flying unit? We will soon see.
As we prepare for this game, we’ve put together our favorite player props from the action, all of which can be found on Underdog. Let’s get into it!
Jordan Love’s season has been solid, but the Packers’ offense wouldn’t be as potent if Josh Jacobs wasn’t on the roster. He has been a brute force in the rushing attack, imposing his will on opposing defenses.
Jacobs has already rushed for 944 yards this season, the third-highest mark of any running back all year.
Given that he hasn’t rushed for less than 73 yards since October 13th, we’re going to go out on a limb here and say that he should hit the over against the Dolphins, especially since passing yards might be hard to come by in the cold.
The Dolphins offense struggled earlier in the year. Tua Tagovailoa was battling an injury, which left Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill without a solid QB. This tanked their fantasy football value, and it also made it hard to trust them from a betting perspective.
However, Waddle is starting to re-establish his connection with Tagovailoa, and we think he’s due for a big game against the Packers. Waddle put up a whopping 144 yards against the New England Patriots last week, and two weeks before that, he logged 57 yards against the Los Angeles Rams.
With most of the Packers’ coverage leaning towards Tyreek Hill and Jonnu Smith, look for Waddle to get a lot of targets, resulting in at least 47 receiving yards.
Packers fans breathed a sigh of relief when the team signed Brandon McManus. He has been nothing short of automatic since joining the team, a welcomed veteran to a position they struggled to find consistency at.
He has helped them out of a few jams already, and when Jordan Love struggles to get the ball in the endzone, McManus has helped them put points on the board.
If the team gets out to a slow start on Thanksgiving, look for McManus to assist them, resulting in at least two made field goals in this one.
