Ready to make the NFL Week 6 card even more fun? Our staff gives out their favorite Anytime Touchdown props for Sunday, October 13. Good luck and enjoy another action-packed NFL weekend.
CIN at NYG - 8:20 PM EDT
As Carrie Underwood would say, "You'll be Waiting All Day for this Sunday Night winner."🎶 I'm pigging backing off Ashley's win last week and saying Ja'Marr Chase scores again this week when the Bengals visit the New York Giants, (in New Jersey) for a primetime Sunday Night matchup on NBC and Peacock.
This game has one of these highest lines of the week (47.5). So, we are expecting lots of scoring from these mediocre teams. The Giants defense, while improved this year, does not have the secondary to keep a dynamic player like Ja'Marr off the scoresheet all game.
Ja'Marr by the way has 29 receptions on 36 targets with 493 yards and 5 TDs on the year. Give me that! Lay the juice on Ja'Marr to score if you have to, but I prefer Caesars for +101 if you can get it.
JAX vs CHI - 9:30 AM EDT (London)
One may think that just because I lost last week, I'm going to back down from being the resident Bears homer. If so, you're out of your mind!
Roschon has three touchdowns through essentially 4 games (he didn't have a single touch vs the Colts) and with a touchdown in each of the last two games, he seems to be getting the majority of the goal-line looks behind that new goal-line jumbo package.
Jacksonville ranks bottom ten in the league in touchdowns allowed on the ground per game, at 1.7. While I do like both Bears running backs to get in the end zone this week, I lean more toward Roschon with the goal-line work he's been getting as of late.
DET at DAL - 4:25 PM EDT
Guess I got to get my pick in this week. I'm going with David Montgomery in the Lions vs Cowboys. It kills me to pick a Lion but it's going to be a high-scoring game and he'll be a part of that.
He's a strong pick for an anytime touchdown against the Cowboys this weekend due to his consistent scoring in recent games. He’s found the end zone in each of the Lions' last seven regular season matchups against NFC opponents.
On top of that, his track record of scoring the first touchdown in 3 of the last four Sunday road games makes him a sure-shot option for another TD.
JAX vs CHI - 9:30 AM EDT (London)
I'm going with Brian Thomas Jr. on Jacksonville any time TD +160 on DraftKings. He’s scored a TD in the last two weeks while quietly becoming WR1 on Jacksonville, beating out Christian Kirk.
As a rookie from LSU, he’s probably the 2nd best rookie receiver so far, behind his former teammate Malik Nabers. He even beat Marvin Harrison Jr. in total yards over the first five games.
Jacksonville is playing the Bears in Chicago, which is a worry because that defense has been rock solid. But if anyone is going to beat this Chicago secondary, it’s the 6’4, 205lb guy who runs a 4.33 40.
DET at DAL - 4:25 PM EDT
I'm going to run it back with another wideout after cashing in easily with Mr. Chase last week. St. Brown has found the end zone in back-to-back games, and I think he'll stay hot against a suspect Dallas secondary.
The Cowboys may have pulled out an unlikely win over the Steelers last week on Sunday Night Football, but they're still one of the most banged-up teams in the league. Four Dallas defensive linemen are on this week's injury report.
Jared Goff really found his footing against the Seahawks on Monday Night Football a few days ago. He'll be looking St. Brown's way early and often against a Dallas defense that's giving up 7.1 yards per pass (18th).
WSH at BAL - 1:00 PM EDT
Since everyone else so far has decided to stick to the late slate or the London game, I decided to give us something to sweat in the 1 pm time slot. The Commanders are a feel-good story, but their defense is still subpar.
Flowers should be able to slice right through this Washington secondary. The former Boston College star lines up on the right side of the field, so he'll have Benjamin St-Juste guarding him.
St-Juste has good size, but he doesn't have enough quickness to keep up with the speedy Flowers. Give me all that plus money over at Caesars and let's watch the Ravens roll!
WSH at BAL - 1:00 PM EDT
I'm taking Lamar Jackson anytime TD this week. +115 on DraftKings. Both of these teams have been putting up points on the board hopefully that stays the same and we see tons of touchdowns.
With the rushing threat of Derrick Henry, as we saw with the Bengals game, they did an amazing job shutting him down until the end there.
I think Washington focuses so heavily on shutting down Henry that it opens up the read option for Lamar. We all know that the former Heisman winner has no trouble taking off when he needs to. Jackson has 53 carries in 5 games for 363 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns so far this year. I like our chances.
WSH at BAL - 1:00 PM EDT
The numbers may not reflect it just yet, but Rashod Bateman is in the midst of a breakout season. Through 5 games, he's caught 13 of 22 targets for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns. Not great, but Bateman has quietly turned into one of the toughest covers in the NFL.
He is currently #3 in the league in average separation and also has the second-highest win rate in the league at 27.2%. He's getting open, Lamar just hasn't been able to find him.
This week's matchup could not be better, as Bateman faces a Washington secondary that has already allowed 11 touchdowns with 0 interceptions this season. Bateman has caught all 3 of his red zone targets this season with 2 red zone touchdowns. Washington can't cover, Bateman is always open, and this pick can't miss.
BUF at NYJ - 8:15 PM EDT (Monday)
Have you had enough Jets chaos yet? I certainly haven’t. The 2-3 Pride of NJ/Long Island and NY are all sorts of discombobulated.
But Breece Hall is the Silver Lining to it all. Hall has not been running efficiently in the Nathanial Hackett-led offense. But the good news is, Hackett won’t be calling plays this Sunday.
Instead, it’s Todd Downing. Downing should correct course and run directly at the Bills Defense, which gives up a league-worst 5.2 yards per rush. They also give up 144 rushing yards per game (6th-worst).
