While most sports bettors are focused on the NBA or getting prepared for NCAA March Madness, a couple of major NFL moves have caused movement in the Super Bowl odds for 2026.

We'll dive into the details of each of these moves below. As far as the sports world is concerned, it's always football season!

Rams Ink Davante Adams to 2-Year Deal

Matthew Stafford will have a new weapon next season, as the Rams recently acquired superstar wideout Davante Adams. The former New York Jet, Las Vegas Raider, and Green Bay Packer agreed to a two-year contract worth $46 million over the weekend. You have to give Sean McVay credit for not wasting any time this off-season.

This move should be a good one for both Adams and the Rams. Opposing defenses won't be able to double-team Adams nearly as often because of the emerging Puka Nacua. You can bet that Stafford and McVay are chomping at the bit to dial up some deep post patterns to Adams.

The news of the Adams deal caused a fair amount of movement in the betting odds for the 2026 Super Bowl. The Rams went from +2600 to win the title to +2000 over at ESPN Bet. Even with that pricing adjustment, Los Angeles may be worth a sprinkle, especially with how the defense looked late last season.

Will the Rams Release Cooper Kupp?

The acquisition of Adams probably didn't make Cooper Kupp feel all warm and cozy. The 31-year-old has been on the trading block since the calendar turned to January, but the Rams have yet to find him a new home.

Kupp had a career-year in 2021, but he's been dogged by injuries ever since. Even though he missed lots of games last season, Kupp still managed to haul in 67 receptions for 710 yards and 6 touchdowns.

With numbers like those, it's crazy to think that the Rams would release Kupp. However, we all know that NFL stands for 'Not for Long'.

Steelers Bring in DK Metcalf to Bolster Super Bowl Chances

Davante Adams wasn't the only star wideout to find a new home over the weekend. DK Metcalf has left for greener pastures as well. The former Ole Miss Rebel will move from the Seattle Seahawks to the Pittsburgh Steelers next season.

This move makes a ton of sense for a Pittsburgh team that looked anemic on offense late last year. Mike Tomlin has to be more than thrilled for Metcalf to team up with George Pickens, who still seemed disgruntled at times last season. Metcalf could be a nice mentor for the young Pickens once training camp begins.

Pittsburgh gave Metcalf a 5-year deal worth $150 million, so fans of the Black and Gold will be cheering him on for many years to come. The Metcalf acquisition caused quite the stir in the Super Bowl market, as the odds plummeted from +8000 to the current number of +5500 over at DraftKings.
