As part of its most recent user experience updates, BetMGM has announced the integration of its reward points and bonuses into a single wallet. This unified digital wallet will enable customers to access their points, balances and other features with one login across all jurisdictions where the company offers its services.

Back in August, BetMGM Nevada in conjunction with MGM Resorts introduced a single wallet for its sportsbook users in the Silver State, becoming the first operator in the country to make this move. This initial wallet update allowed Nevada customers to maintain the same login credentials and cash balance across the country.

However, even better in the latest upgrade, the single digital wallet will streamline BetMGM Rewards Points, Marriott Bonvoy Points and other digital bonuses into one account. In essence, customers will be able to travel across different jurisdictions while carrying their points, cash balances and account settings with them.

Quite notably, BetMGM is one of North America’s foremost sports betting, casino and poker operators, with a reach extending to 29 markets. This customer experience enhancement is expected to extend to all jurisdictions where BetMGM operates, with the exclusion of Ontario, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Reward Points Efficiency Marks Part of Progressive Digital Wallet Integration

The new unified rewards system will eliminate the previous need for customers to maintain different wallets across different states. So, points accumulated in Michigan, for example, can now be accessed in Nevada, New Jersey or anywhere in the US.

In its press release, BetMGM revealed that the improved efficiency and accessibility of rewards points is just the next phase of its digital wallet system. This would imply that there would be more developments to follow.

"Streamlining BetMGM Rewards Points into a single account is the next phase of BetMGM's single, digital wallet," the company revealed in its press release. Players can earn these reward points and loyalty Tier Credits when they wager at BetMGM Casino, BetMGM Sportsbook or BetMGM Poker.

Key stakeholders believe that the update will simplify user engagement with loyalty programs in the casino. Players can also now enjoy real-time tracking of their points and bonuses, a feature that’s set to introduce more convenience to how customers interact with rewards.

"We are committed to streamlining the loyalty experience for our players so they can enjoy the rewards they earn wherever they are in the U.S.," Adam Greenblatt, BetMGM CEO said. "The BetMGM Rewards Program showcases our key differentiators -- omnichannel play, the iconic hospitality and MGM Resorts International's entertainment, and partnerships including our alliance with Marriott Bonvoy. With every bet at the sportsbook and spin of the slot you are earning rewards that can be used online or in-person."

Important Highlights of the BetMGM Single Rewards Wallet

Frequent travelers and digital nomads are poised to enjoy the most benefits from the integrated single, digital wallet. But nonetheless, there’s something in the update for practically every user. Perhaps the most obvious is that BetMGM Rewards Points accumulated are updated and redeemable in every jurisdiction.

Another major highlight is that if a user creates a fresh account in a new location, their Rewards Points balance syncs with those of other accounts. This innovation will strengthen BetMGM’s multi-state connectivity while also enhancing customer lifetime value.

Notably, the digital wallet will strengthen integration with retail MGM Resorts locations, thereby enriching online and offline experiences. Customers can also leverage MGM’s partnership with Marriott Bonvoy to redeem points.

“Players can redeem BetMGM Rewards Points earned through play in the Rewards Store and use them for odds boosts and Gametime credits. BRPs can also be redeemed at MGM Resorts International destinations, exchanged for Marriott Bonvoy Points, and more,” the press release read.
