Another week of college football action has come and gone, and we’re already entering Week 8 of the season. A lot of awesome games have gone down already, and we’re excited to watch the action unfold and see where teams find themselves in the standings.

With so much to tune into, it might be difficult for bettors to hone in on their favorite matchups of the weekend, but we’ve found our top games from this weekend and would be more than happy to share our best props with you!
With that in mind, let’s get our Underdog selections from the battle between Nebraska and Minnesota, which takes place on Friday night!

Drake Lindsey UNDER 215.5 Passing Yards

Drake Lindsey, at times, has looked like a veteran QB this year. He had a monster 324-yard game against Rutgers a few weeks back, and he’s had several dominant performances through the air.

As Minnesota fans are well aware, his floor is quite low, which was put on full display during his 94-yard outing against Ohio State on October 4th. While we think Lindsey is going to be a solid and mostly consistent collegiate player for the next few seasons, this matchup stinks for him, as Nebraska allows the second-fewest yards per game to opposing quarterbacks.

Lindsey’s stat line will likely look closer to that Ohio State game than the Rutgers one, which is why we’re taking the under in this spot.

Dylan Raiola OVER 1.5 Touchdown Passes

Dylan Raiola, or mini Patrick Mahomes, as a lot of fans call him, has been a touchdown machine all season. He’s thrown for 2+ touchdowns in all but one game this year, and a lot of Nebraska’s successes can be tied back to his strong performances.

He might not be well-liked around the country for his antics and overall demeanor, but it’s hard to argue with the results.

We’re not necessarily confident in his passing yardage line against a MN defense that can be stingy at times, but we’re certainly betting on him to have at least two touchdown passes, with a ceiling of 4+ in this one.

Emmett Johnson OVER 96.5 Rushing Yards

When the Cornhuskers aren’t letting Raiola do his thing from a passing perspective, they’re putting the ball into their second-most valuable offensive player, Emmett Johnson.

Johnson has been a force of nature at the running back position all year, averaging over 6 yards per carry. They can trust him in big-time moments.

Considering that Nebraska is heavily favored in this one, we expect them to give him the rock a lot on this one, giving him plenty of opportunities to eclipse the 97-yard mark, if not soar over it by a wide margin.
