Welcome to Week 4 of college football, sports betting family. There's nothing like a Saturday packed with lots of exciting games like we have on this weekend's card. I've found some betting value on Saturday afternoon's Tulane vs. Ole Miss game, which kicks off at 3:30 PM Eastern Time on ESPN.

I've broken down this matchup from every angle and came up with an early best bet for your wagering pleasures. Good luck and enjoy the action! This should be a fun one to watch!

Betting Odds for Tulane vs. Ole Miss

Online sportsbooks opened this line at Ole Miss -13.5 on the look-ahead line. There has been a rather large move in favor of Tulane, as most sportsbooks now list this line at Ole Miss -11.5 as of Tuesday morning. That's a rather large move down after only three weeks of play.

As for the game total, there's been some large money coming in on the Over. The line opened at 54.5, and almost every sportsbook in the US is now offering 61.5. The move upward makes sense because of how well both of these offenses have played so far.

Can Tulane Pull Off the Unthinkable?

The Green Wave pulled off a nice 7-point win over Duke last Saturday. New QB Jake Retzlaff found the end zone four times with his legs, which was a new school record for the BYU transfer. Shazz Preston was the Green Wave's leading receiver with 95 yards.

Tulane's defense has been gashed by the run a few times this year, which is why they're giving up 4.5 yards per carry (85th in the nation). They'll have to perform better in that department against a very solid Ole Miss rushing offense. Dickson Agu leads the Green Wave in tackles with 26.

Will Ole Miss Be Looking Ahead?

Austin Simmons has had an up-and-down start to his Ole Miss career. The newcomer has thrown for 580 yards and 4 TDs, but he's also thrown 4 INTs. Simmons is also dealing with a sore ankle that caused him to throw only one pass against Arkansas last week.

Head coach Lane Kiffin said that Simmons should be back to full strength against Tulane, but even if he can't go, backup QB Trinidad Chambliss looked pretty darn good last week in Simmons's absence. The senior QB threw for 353 yards and a touchdown against the Hogs.

Ole Miss has done well against the pass, but their rush defense has been a total mess so far. The Rebs rank just 112th in yards per rush allowed, so they could have their hands full stopping Retzlaff and Co., even at home.

Best Bet: Tulane +12.5 (-110) (Hard Rock)

This is the mother of all sandwich spots! Ole Miss is coming off a hard-fought victory over Arkansas last week. Not only that, but the Rebs have LSU on deck. Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Fire! Talk about a flat spot here against a non-conference opponent.

On the other hand, this is Tulane's Super Bowl. The Green Wave have been solid so far this season, mainly thanks to Jake Retzlaff. The former BYU standout has been a force on the ground (288 rush yds, 6 TD) and through the air (522 pass yds, 2 TD).

I made this line right around this number of 12, but with the mega flat spot for the Rebs, I'd put this true number at around 8.5 or so. Let's go, Green Wave! Good luck!

Prediction: Ole Miss 34 - Tulane 27
