College Football fans are in for a real treat this weekend. There are a lot of fantastic games on the slate, and from a betting perspective, there’s a lot to be excited about and to look forward to.

With so much to choose from, it can be difficult to dial into specific matchups, but after lots of consideration, we decided to dive into a few specific games from the slate, including this one between USF and Miami.

USF is ranked 18th, and Miami is 5th, so this should be a great battle between two ranked teams. Plus, USF might be the hottest team in the country, so there is a lot of built-in hype and excitement surrounding them.

We’ve got you covered with the best player props from Underdog, so let’s get into our top picks!

Carson Beck OVER 282.5 Passing Yards

If there was a game this year for Carson Beck to have a 300+ yard performance with relative ease, it would definitely be this one. While USF has been awesome this year, their historical struggles against the pass are a green flag for Beck and the Miami offense.

They allowed nearly 300 yards per game to opposing quarterbacks in 2024, and with Beck being a fantastic QB, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about him and his outlook moving forward.

He had 267 yards against Bethune-Cookman last week in limited work, and could soar over this line in a game that should be a back-and-forth matchup. Don’t overthink his passing yards here.

Byrum Brown OVER 197.5 Passing Yards

We were a bit surprised to see how low Byrum Browns’ passing projection was in this one, especially since he has eclipsed the 200-yard mark in both of his starts this season.

Miami’s defense has been good this year, but with our strong projection from Beck, Brown should get plenty of opportunities himself.

Look for strong passing performances from both quarterbacks in this one, who we believe will go over their projections.

Malachi Toney OVER 69.5 Passing Yards

With our projection of Beck having a monster game through the air, it made sense to pair him with his top receiver, which has been Malachi Toney to this point in the season.

Toney has put up 80+ yards in both games this season, and it’s evident that he and Beck have a great relationship. We’ll take his under eventually, but for now, we’re riding the wave until further notice.
