The College Football season is finally here! Week 0 was a great teaser last week, but now we’re diving into all of the action, which starts on Thursday night.

There are a ton of fantastic games on the slate this week, and we couldn’t possibly write about each of them. With that said, we’ve taken a look at Underdog’s prop offering from some of the best matchups, picking and choosing our favorites.

We’ll start the week with our top props from Nebraska vs. Cincinnati. This is a highly anticipated matchup taking place at Arrowhead Stadium, so we’re excited to walk through our best picks. Let’s get into it!

Dylan Raiola UNDER 243.5 Passing Yards

It wouldn’t be an article about the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Kansas City without bringing up mini Mahomes, Dylan Raiola. Raiola, of course, has received a lot of media attention for looking a lot like Patrick Mahomes, both on and off the field.

His true freshman season in 2024 certainly left something to be desired, as there were sky-high expectations about what he would be able to accomplish in Year 1. We believe he’s in for a better season in Year 2, which is good news for Cornhuskers fans, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he started the year slowly.

There’s a lot of pressure playing at Arrowhead, and with Cincinnati’s defense only allowing 220.8 passing yards per game last year, we’re not so sure he’s in for a monster day through the air. With all of that in mind, we’re fading him in this matchup, wanting to see it to believe it from the second-year QB.

Brendan Sorsby OVER 215.5 Passing Yards

While we’re fading Raiola in his first start of the season, we’re cautiously optimistic about Brendan Sorsby’s outlook in this matchup. Sorsby is a junior with a full season of experience under his belt, and he should be in a great position to put up strong numbers in this one.

He only had five games with more than 216 passing yards last season, which might lead to trepidation from some bettors, but we believe he’s going to rise to the occasion to start the season with a bang.

Sorsby began the 2024 season with two games of 383 and 298-yard performances, so look for him to do the same this year.

Emmett Johnson OVER 70.5 Rushing Yards

Raiola could struggle in his season opener, but it’s full speed ahead for Emmett Johnson in the Cornhuskers’ rushing attack. He’s slated to be the lead back for the second-straight season.

Considering that he averaged 5.1 yards per carry last year, we believe he could have a field day in Week 1. Johnson had 71+ yards in the final three games of the season in 2024, and it feels like he’s going to continue that trend against Cincinnati.
