We’ve put together the 5 best player prop bets you won’t want to miss out on for this Quarterfinal game.
Player Prop Odds: -135
Jeremiyah Love has been the undeniable engine of Notre Dame's offense. He’s racked up 14 rushing touchdowns this season and not looking to slow down for this game.
He’s been a consistent red-zone threat all season long. In fact, he’s scored in every game this year. With Georgia’s run defense regressing to its lowest ranking in over a decade allowing 127.8 rushing yards per game, Love has a really nice matchup to continue his streak.
Even with Georgia focusing on stopping the run, Notre Dame’s offensive line and Love’s ability to break tackles make him an easy bet to find the end zone at least once — if not more — in this game.
Player Prop Odds: -125
Riley Leonard averages 174.3 passing yards per game, and while Notre Dame does rely heavily on the ground game, this matchup just might require Leonard to air it out more than usual.
Georgia’s defense is still tough but has shown a few vulnerabilities, particularly against mobile QBs who can extend plays — and that’s exactly what Leonard brings to the table.
With Georgia missing key defensive linemen, Leonard could take full advantage of this by combining his running ability with efficient passing, especially on play-action.
We think that his hitting 175 yards tonight is well within his reach, especially with Notre Dame likely needing to keep pace in a high-stakes game. The season is on the line and he’s going to go for the long ball a few times.
Player Prop Odds: -245
Gunner Stockton steps into the biggest game of his career. The odds are stacked against him, but he’s got some big shoes to fill. He’s only attempted 51 passes all season and is up against Notre Dame’s elite and dominant pass defense, which allows just a 96.9 opponent passer rating.
Stockton may add a bit of value as a runner, but his inexperience and Notre Dame’s ability to pressure QBs make this a tough spot for him. We’re looking for Georgia to lean on the ground game rather than asking Stockton to air it out. He’s just too inexperienced and they can’t risk too much in this Quarterfinal game.
Sure, an UNDER 150 yards pick is steeply juiced, but this one feels like one of the safest bets on the board. Of course, we love big payouts, but for some bets, you have to take whatever cash you can.
Player Prop Odds: +115
Georgia’s Arian Smith has been a deep-ball specialist. He’s averaging 16.0 yards per catch this season which is just insane at this level. A good contributor to that number is his yards after catch.
With Gunner Stockton under center, Georgia’s offensive plan likely includes short throws and screens to receivers like Smith, who can turn a quick catch into a big gain with his legs. It won’t take many to hit this mark, either.
Notre Dame's focus on stopping the run may create opportunities for Smith in one-on-one coverage and open up passing lanes. If Stockton attempts to stretch the field even a little, Smith could hit this modest total on just a couple of catches.
At plus money, this is a high-upside play you won’t want to miss out on.
Player Prop Odds: -105
Trevor Etienne has quietly put together an impressive season. He’s averaging 5.1 yards per carry and racked up 569 rushing yards on the season and that’s with splitting carries with Nate Frazier.
With Carson Beck out, Georgia will need to rely on Etienne to take pressure off their young quarterback. Notre Dame’s run defense is one of the best but still far from impenetrable, particularly with their top defensive lineman Rylie Mills sidelined.
Etienne is Georgia's most reliable offensive weapon right now, and given the expected heavy workload, 70 yards feels too easy to pass up.
The near-even odds make this a really hot bet for this College Football Playoff game.
This Sugar Bowl matchup is loaded with storylines and tons of betting value.
Whether you’re backing Jeremiyah Love to keep his touchdown streak alive or fading Gunner Stockton’s passing yardage, these 5 props come stacked with a good mix of safe plays and high-reward opportunities.
Keep an eye on game flow, as it could heavily influence these outcomes.
