College Bowl season is here, and if you’re looking to pass the time the day after Christmas, the schedule-makers have you covered. There are three games on the slate today, starting with the GameAbove Bowl between Pittsburgh and Toledo.

We’re not going to focus our player prop efforts on that game, but we will take a look at a few of our favorites from the Rate Bowl and the 68 Ventures Bowl.

All of our picks below can be found on Underdog, so let’s get into it!

Avery Johnson OVER 206.5 Passing Yards

The Rate Bowl is a matchup between Rutgers and Kansas State, and we thought we’d start our analysis by talking about Avery Johnson, the KSU quarterback. Avery Johnson has been consistent all year, throwing for 207+ yards in seven of his past eight games.

The sophomore QB will be looking to make his mark on this game from the get-go, so we’re riding with his passing yardage prop since it’s set at 206.5.

Plus, Rutgers gave up nearly 250 yards per game in the regular season, so we’re confident that Johnson can hit at least 207 in this spot, making his presence heard in a nationally televised contest.

Ian Strong OVER 63.5 Receiving Yards

Ian Strong seems to get better with age. After struggling to produce in the first half of the season, Strong has been a consistent part of the Rutgers passing game for the past two months.

He’s had 63+ yards in his past five games, an indication that he shouldn’t have a problem hitting that mark in this matchup vs. Kansas State.

Look for Strong to be targeted early on in this one, hopefully achieving the over by the end of the third quarter.

Jaylen Raynor UNDER 200.5 Passing Yards

We’ll now move to the 68 Ventures Bowl, a matchup between Arkansas State and Bowling Green. This might not be the greatest matchup on paper, but it does allow college football fans to watch players like Jaylen Raynor, who has put together some highlight-reel plays at times this season.

However, with Bowling Green being a tough out, especially considering their strong defense against quarterbacks, we’re not sure Raynor is going to have as big of a night as fans are expecting.

With that in mind, we’re fading Raynor’s passing yardage total, taking the under in this game.
