Here are the best player prop bets for round 1 of the CFB Playoffs.
Player Prop Odds: +150
Texas star QB Quinn Ewers has been heating up in the passing game. He’s averaging 242.3 yards per game this season and only getting better.
While that’s slightly below the 275.5 mark, this CFB Playoff game against Clemson is perfect for Ewers to air it out. Clemson’s defense is ranked 74th in rushing yards allowed but performs better against the pass, which means Texas could lean on Ewers’ arm to keep the offense moving. He’ll have to keep the drives alive and it’s going to take some passing yards.
Clemson also allows 274.1 passing yards per game, which is ironically right in line with this prop. That’s also not factoring in the explosiveness of Ewers.
With the Longhorns needing big plays through the air to compete in this game, Ewers could easily hit this number — especially at juicy +150 odds.
Player Prop Odds: +175
Clemson wide receiver Antonio Williams has been Cade Klubnik’s go-to man all season long and he’s averaging 64.3 receiving yards per game.
However, Williams has blown through the 80-yard mark in several big games, and this matchup against Texas will undoubtedly give him another opportunity. Texas ranks 109th in rushing defense, so Clemson might use play-action to open up some deep shots for Williams down the field.
At +175, we think there’s excellent value here, especially given Williams’ big-play ability and consistency. We’re looking for him to make the most of a high-volume game plan as Clemson works to match Texas’ explosive offense.
Player Prop Odds: +140
We love anytime touchdowns and the CFB Playoffs is a perfect time for some of these gems.
Tennessee’s running back Dylan Sampson is a TD machine. He’s racked up 22 scores this season while averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
Facing Ohio State’s stout defense who is ranked 47th in points against, it won’t be easy for Tennessee to run wild, but Sampson’s ability in short-yardage plays and goal-line situations gives him a real touchdown potential.
At +140 odds, we feel that this is a solid play. Tennessee will look to establish the run early and give Sampson red-zone touches to remain competitive against Ohio State. With his big scoring track record, banking on him to find the end zone at least once feels like a smart bet.
Player Prop Odds: +550
Go big or go home, right?
Cade Klubnik has been absolutely phenomenal this season. He’s thrown 33 touchdowns to just 5 interceptions. He’s easily one of the most efficient passers in college football.
While Texas’ defense is unquestionably decent, they allow 280.9 passing yards per game and have struggled to contain elite opposing quarterbacks in high-scoring games like today’s game is expected to be.
Klubnik has hit the 3-touchdown mark in multiple games leading up to today, and this one sets up as another potential shootout.
At +550, this prop offers exceptional value that we just can’t pass up. We like big payouts just like you.
Clemson’s offensive identity revolves around Klubnik, and if the Tigers find themselves trailing, which they probably will, he’ll be throwing even more. This is a high-risk, high-reward pick, but it’s worth a sprinkle given the game script heading into this round 1 playoff game.
Player Prop Odds: +105
Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith has been a standout all year and we don’t think he’ll drop off for the playoffs. He’s averaging 16.4 yards per catch with 934 total receiving yards making him one of the best WRs in the game.
Tennessee’s secondary ranks 98th in passing yards allowed per game, making this the perfect spot for Smith to shine. The Buckeyes offense has been built around their ability to exploit clear mismatches, and Smith figures to see plenty of opportunities to stretch the field — especially with his yards after the catch.
With Smith averaging well above this total in recent games, this prop at plus money is one of the player prop bets on the board. We expect him to clear 70.5 yards with no problems at all as Ohio State takes to the air.
These 5 props offer a good mix of safe bets and high-value plays.
Whether it’s Cade Klubnik piling up TDs or Antonio Williams racking up the yardage, these picks are backed by the stats and game trends.
Get in on the action early and be sure to load up your bet slip with these props so you don’t miss out.
