AAC Football: Geier picks Temple vs Cincinnati and UCF vs Tulane

The Knight's aren't the same without McKenzie Milton at the helm but are still one of the best teams in the Group of Five. Freshman Dillon Gabriel is proving to be one of the best young quarterbacks in college football throwing for 24 TDs and nearly 3,000 yards. However, despite Gabriel, the Knights have struggled on the road as they've lost three games by field goals. This matchup is between two teams that had high expectations entering the season but have struggled in their past few outings. Tulane can put up points in a heartbeat but have some glaring holes on the defensive side of the ball. I'm taking the Knights covering as they're coming fresh out of a bye week and will finally win on the road.

The Bearcats had some close scares the past few weeks and are looking for some stability at home. Junior Michael Warren II is their leading rusher and has accounted for 10 TDs on 4.8 YPC. The Bearcats are one of the best in the nation managing the clock and have an elite defense that gives up 20 PPG. On the other side, Temple is having a very good season after losing former coach Geoff Collins to Georgia Tech, but has recent wins over USF Tulane. Overall, the Bearcats have been hard to trust the past few weeks so I'm taking the over.
