WIN: That rare time a game goes as anticipated and doesn't screw me with something weird at the end. Colgate wins 69-61 = 130.

Teaser: LEHIGH -1 and Bucknell/Lehigh game Under 150, $11 to win $10

LOSS: Lehigh wins 86-77, but total is 163.

HOLY CROSS -2 1/2 over American, $11 to win $10

LOSS: American wins 60-54.

Wednesday's Picks:

Colgate at Army, 6 pm EST

Colgate -6 1/2, $11 to win $10.

Colgate has won 7 in a row and Army has lost 4 in a row, all to teams worse than Colgate. The Black Knights can be tough at West Point, but I think there's enough of a talent discrepancy to cover the 6 1/2. (Army lost at Colgate by 19, when the Raiders were coming off 5 straight losses.)

Navy at American, 7 pm EST

Game under 123 1/2, $11 to win $10.

These two teams both play at a snail's pace and Navy, as you would hope, also plays defense. They combined for a whopping 92 points when they played at Navy. Navy is by far the better group but 9 1/2 is too many points to give in a game that may not hit 100. Since both are content to grind it out, I'll hope for another low-possession game.

Loyola MD at Lafayette, 7 pm EST

Lafayette Moneyline +100, $11 to win $11.

Loyola has struggled recently and is coming off three straight losses. Lafayette has been winning and losing but has been reasonably tough at home – all their home losses since December have been to teams better than the Greyhounds. And I'll ride the Coach Fran O'Hanlon Retirement Train for another game.
