Fats on the SWAC 2-3, -$13.

Had a better night on Monday although it was looking sketchy for awhile. Alcorn St. beat Mississippi Valley St. 79-71, but since I had MVSU +9 1/2, the 8-point loss was okay (well, not for MVSU). Arkansas Pine Bluff put up a stinker. They lost 60-47 to Jackson St. at home and I was only getting 4 1/2. Grambling, however, came back from a 4-point halftime deficit against Alabama A&M to win 58-50 and cover my 5-point give. 2-1 I'll take every time.

Saturday SWAC Picks:

Grambling at Texas Southern, 4:30 pm EST

Texas Southern -7, $11 to win 10.

Both these teams are in the top tier of the SWAC, but Texas Southern beat Florida, so they have a big game in them. With Grambling right on their heels and Texas Southern close to first place, I think they bring the big game today and give Grambling's offense fits.

Florida A&M at Jackson State, 6:30 pm EST

Over 122.5, $11 to win $10.

Neither of these teams can score, but recent games still tell me they're going to get to 125. Don't tweet me when it's 19-16 at the half.
