Last year, Fats was all in on the NBA, but this year, with so many key players out for so many reasons, I spent January studying the smaller college leagues, where weaker teams play inconsistently against other weaker teams. So until the season ends I'm going to try to make a little money from the Patriot League, the MEAC and the SWAC. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but . . .

Bucknell at Lafayette, 2 pm EST

Lafayette -2 1/2 -150. $15 to win $10.

Bucknell has been bad this year, Lafayette has been slightly less bad. With Lafayette's great coach Fran O'Hanlon retiring at the end of the season, I think the Leopards will do everything in their limited power to get him as many Ws as possible.

Boston University at Lehigh 2 pm EST

Lehigh + 3 1/2 -110. $11 to win $10.

BU is the better team but Lehigh has been surprisingly tough in-conference at home and is coming off a home win over Navy. Not sure Lehigh will get the upset win, but am confident they'll battle.

Colgate at American 4 pm EST

Colgate -12 -110. $11 to win $10.

After a rocky non-conference start, Matt Langel's Red Raiders sit atop the Patriot League at 6-2. American is near the bottom at 2-7. 12 points is a lot to give on the road, but American has twice been pummeled at home by Patriot teams worse than Colgate.

If you don't mind Teasers, teasing the Colgate line down with one of the other Patriot picks may be a good idea.
