Play-in round of the Big 10 Tournament: Nebraska faces Rutgers

The Scarlet Knights beat the Cornhuskers earlier this season

Nebraska (-1.5) vs. RUTGERS, Big 10 Tournament, 6:30 p.m.
The Pick:
Rutgers (+1.5)

Nebraska was a really good movie with Bruce Dern and Will Forte. It wasn’t a bad album by Bruce Springsteen, either.

As a basketball team, Nebraska (16-15) isn’t as good as the movie or the album. The Cornhuskers have also failed to cover the spread in 11 of its last 14 games this season.

Rutgers, which blew its chance to escape Wednesday’s play-in round of the Big 10 Tournament when it lost its last two games, can rebound tonight with an opening-round win.

The Scarlet Knights (14-16) beat the Cornhuskers, 76-69, earlier this season and should be able to repeat that feat again Wednesday night.

Rutgers is 6-1 against the spread in its last seven games and 6-1 this season against the spread on neutral courts. And it’s Wednesday. If you’ve been paying attention you know Rutgers is now 12-3-1 against the spread on Wednesdays.

Take the Knights and the 1.5, or get daring and just bet the money line.
