The Sunday Philly Props: Villanova

Home Away From Home

We are going two different ways with the Villanova Wildcats Sunday . . .

First off, they have outscored their opponents in the second half in nine of their last 10 games, and by a cumulative score of 428-342. (They were outscored by just one in the game they were outscored.) The line for that we have seen in the -2 area, but we opted for the money line (-157).

Then there is the Gah-den. Villanova has won 18 of its last 19 in the World’s Most Famous Arena, and that includes some tough non-league games (Gonzaga, Connecticut, Illinois). The Wildcats have quite the NYC fan base and although the Johnnies will have the home-court advantage, it won’t be quite as impressive as when other teams come in to take on the Red Storm. Again, we go with the money line here (-185).

Pick: Villanova To Win ($18.50/-185)
Pick: Villanova To Win Second Half ($15.70/-157)
