NCAAB: Monday Teaser pairs the Big12 with the Patriot League

Lehigh +4.5 @ BUCKNELL, 7 pm. These two Patriot League teams have nearly identical records and are 8 spots apart on the Pomeroy computer. When they played Jan. 19 at Lehigh, Bucknell won by 2, 85-83. Now they’re at Bucknell’s place but giving 4.5 seems like a lot. That’s why I’ll give the Teaser 5 to Lehigh and take them +9.5. I’m going to pair that game and make essentially the same bet with Oklahoma +4.5 @ BAYLOR, 9 pm. These two teams played Jan. 28 at Oklahoma and Baylor beat the Sooner out of them, 77-47. Otherwise, they have nearly identical overall records -- although Oklahoma has been going the wrong way in League play -- and sit 6 spots apart on the computer. The Sooners need a win bad so I’m going to hope that keeps them in the game on the road.
