NCAAB: Thursday Teaser has Tigers & Hawkeyes as double-digit dogs

Memphis +5 @ TEMPLE 7 pm. The Owls (14-4) were flat Saturday in their loss to Penn -- their first home defeat of the season -- so they should be motivated against the Tigers (12-6). But Penny Hardaway’s group is also motivated -- both teams are 4-1 in conference -- and Temple wins a lot of close games. We think the Owls should hang on, but giving our Teaser 6 points to Memphis and making them +10 is the way we’ll go. We’ll pair that game with Michigan St. -5.5 @ IOWA 7 pm. The Spartans 17-2 are really, really tough, but Iowa (16-3) ain’t no slouch and it’s hard to see them get walloped at home. So we’ll give Iowa the +5.
