The Last Tango on Thursday: NCAAB

Pacific (+25) at Gonzaga (157.5), 11 (ESPN2)

Since back-to-back losses to the current No. 3 (Tennessee) and No. 12 (North Carolina) teams in the country, Gonzaga has won five games by a combined 218 points.

Repeat: Two hundred and eighteen points.

But even more impressive than that is the fact that each of those games came in Under. In fact, the opponents’ point totals for those five games are the five lowest point outputs for Gonzaga foes this season.

Now, Gonzaga is not going to see Denver (101-40) nor North Alabama (96-51) again in a regional semifinal any time soon, but no matter who you beat, when you cover spreads that huge and still cash the Unders, there is some serious commitment to defense going on.

Laying a quarter (25) to a Pacific team we enjoyed watching against BYU a few weeks back is a little much, so let’s just jump on that Under.

Pick: Gonzaga-Pacific Under 157.5
