NCAAB: Tuesday Teaser teams up Marist and hot Brown

Brown (10-4) has been playing terrific recently and has a big-time scorer in sophomore Desmond Cambridge. The Bears ride a four-game winning streak and have won three of their last five on the road, with the losses being to Butler and Rhode Island teams much better than Canisius. The Golden Griffins haven’t beaten a team as good as Brown all season. Our one concern is that trip north to Buffalo which can suck the life out of teams. Still, we’re going to move Brown to +6.5 and believe they can brave the cold and get the W.

Manhattan (3-11) doesn’t have as bad a trip as Brown with its two-hour bus ride to Poughkeepsie, but the Marist (5-8) gym isn’t great for shooters and Manhattan already has a hard time scoring. The Red Foxes should win this outright and by pushing them down to -1 that’s all they have to do.

Pick: Brown +6.5 over CANISIUS paired with MARIST -1 over Manhattan.
