The Last Tango on Saturday: NCAAB

BYU (+6.5) at Saint Mary’s (156.5), 11 (ESPN)

Hopefully, you stayed up late with us Thursday and watched Pacific overcome a 21-point deficit to take a lead late in the game but eventually fall to Brigham Young, 90-87, in what was the best college hoops game we have seen this season. We had Pacific to win on the money line, but we sure could have used the four points.

Such is the betting life.

Even though that was the fourth straight ATS loss for BYU, this is not the power house Saint Mary’s club we have seen a few times over the last decade or so. We won’t pull the trigger on anything here, but we can tell you we will tune in. The West Coast Conference is, in fact, our favorite “west coast conference”, and they had a wild opening night Thursday, with two upsets and the big Pacific comeback among its four games.

Always worth tuning in to see this conference go at it.
