The Rainbows will play every one of their games - including their Big West Conference tournament - in either Hawaii or California. The Bulldogs, on the other hand, have already played in seven states this season, including last week when they were a whole ocean away in Atlantic City, N.J. There, they finally picked up their first victory of the season by overcoming a second-half deficit against Tulane. On Jan. 14, A&M will play its 17th game of the season . . . in its 11th different state. They have been Under in six of their last eight games and all this travel would seem to lean toward that trend continuing.
