We’ve made it to Game 3 of the NBA Finals! After the Indiana Pacers pulled off a stunning upset in Game 1, the Oklahoma City Thunder put its foot on the gas in Game 2, winning 123-107.
Could this be a sign of dominance to come from them for the rest of the series? Or will the Pacers find a second gear at home in Game 3, securing a much-needed 2-1 lead in the series?
We’re about to find out with tonight’s matchup. As we gear up for this game, let’s take a look at our favorite player props from Underdog, hoping to sweep the board from tonight’s action!
We took the under on 34.5 points in Game 2, and SGA certainly scared us by scoring 34. The under technically cashed, but it was too close for comfort.
Because SGA has put up at least 34 points in both games of the series, and he remains the heart and soul of this Thunder offense, we’re left with no choice but to take the over on his point total tonight.
He’s playing far too well to fade at the moment, and given his ability to create and make shots, along with getting to the free-throw line, we’re riding with the hot hand in this one.
We are expecting big things from Tyrese Haliburton tonight. Not only is he playing the first Finals game of the season in front of the home Pacers crowd, but he’s due for a massive scoring performance after two straight lackluster games in this category.
Haliburton has shown to be one of the best scorers in the league when he gets opportunities, and we certainly believe he’ll have opportunities tonight, especially in a crucial Game 3.
We wouldn’t be surprised if he had close to 25 tonight, so for that reason, we’re taking the over on his point total.
The over on this line should be a popular pick for bettors tonight, considering Caruso has had at least 10 points in three of his past four playoff games.
However, he’s been propped up by three-pointers in these outings, a trend we don’t expect to continue in this one.
SGA might have his way with the Pacers, but it’s not likely that they’ll allow two players to have big nights, so we’re fading Caruso and hoping he has a slow evening in the points column.
