Happy Monday to all! With the NFL taking a two-week break until the Super Bowl (Unless you count the Pro Bowl, of course), many football fans have turned their attention to the NBA, hoping to fill their nights with some kind of sports entertainment.

It’s a good time to start tuning in, as 12 games are going down tonight, many of which are strong matchups. We’ve compiled our favorite player props from Underdog for the slate, so let’s dive in and hope to win some cash together!

Kristaps Porzingis (BOS) OVER 18.5 Points

Kristaps Porzingis might be the most underrated starter on the Boston Celtics. He’s missed a few games due to injuries, but, assuming he stays healthy, could be the reason they make another deep playoff run this year.

The Celtics are a great team without him, but a true championship contender with him on the floor. Porzingis is averaging nearly 19 points per game this season, someone who elevates them on the offensive end of the floor.

He’s also historically performed well against the Houston Rockets, their opponent tonight, scoring almost 22 points per game in various matchups during his career. With that in mind, we’re hammering the over on his points line tonight, believing he’ll have no problem hitting the 20-point mark.

Josh Hart (NYK) UNDER 13.5 Points

Josh Hart might be viewed as the third option on the New York Knicks after Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, but he would likely be a No. 1 or No. 2 on another team. He’s a fantastic rebounder and distributor of the rock, a great teammate in many respects.

However, Hart can struggle as a scorer in tough matchups, which is what he’s facing tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies. Hart might have some success on the glass and while passing to his teammates, but we project a down game in the scoring column, especially given his poor history against the Grizzlies.

He hasn’t scored over 14 points in a game against them since February of 2022, and for those reasons, we’re out on him tonight.

LeBron James (LAL) OVER 39.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists

Father time continues to be no match for LeBron James, who is truly defying the odds at 40 years old. He’s averaging 23.7 points per game, 7.6 rebounds, and 9.0 assists, a testament to how he’s dominating the league to this day.

He is a freak of nature, still, and we’re ready to ride with the over on his PRA line tonight, especially since he’s facing off against the Charlotte Hornets.

James has played exceptionally well against the Hornets throughout his career, averaging 27.2 points, 7.5 assists, and 7.2 rebounds, a trend we expect to continue tonight. The Hornets haven’t been able to contain star players all year, so James shouldn’t have an issue going over 39.5 PRA in this one.
