Utah Jazz at Dallas Mavericks, 9:30 pm Eastern
The Pick: Dallas -145, bet $14.50 to win $10
Dallas Mavericks’ star Luka Doncic returned in Game 4 on Saturday, playing 34 minutes and scoring 30 points in a 100-99 loss to Utah. Even though Dallas lost the game, it was a good sign. Doncic is the best player on either team, and despite nursing a strained calf he’ll be more than the Jazz can handle. Now that Dallas will be playing a crucial Game 5 at home, I expect Doncic to have a huge game (ironically enough scoring 30 points in a game doesn’t qualify as “huge” for Luka), putting the Mavericks ahead - but again, I expect this series to go seven games.
