Money has come in on both the Celtics and the under in this one. At 9.5 points, a Celtics team that’s down Marcus Smart and potentially Gordon Hayward as well is not one we’d expect to cover. However, we’re not jumping for joy to back Detroit in this one either as the Pistons are almost certainly going to be without Luke Kennard and Blake Griffin on Friday night as both are listed as doubtful. That makes the under very appealing tonight at TD Garden. Boston scored 109 on Wednesday night in Dallas which is a little misleading thanks to a big fourth quarter that saw the C’s score 33 points. The Pistons failed to reach the century mark in their last game against Toronto and Griffin and Kennard played on Wednesday. It’s first to 100 tonight in Beantown and rather than take a side, we love the under.
