NBA: Sixers face playoff hungry Nets & Bucks have hot Clippers visiting - Frank tells you where to put your money

Nets (+7) @ SIXERS (232.5)
Pick: Nets +7
The Nets’ playoff fate still is not sealed and while Brooklyn should be participating in the NBA playoffs, it’s not a done deal yet. With seven games left, the Nets are still in the sixth position in the East but just 1.5 games clear of the playoff cut line. Philadelphia’s playoff fate is basically locked up. Barring a catastrophic collapse, Philly will be the three seed in the East. Heading into the playoffs healthy will be the biggest priority for the Sixers given they’ll have lofty expectations once they get there. Therefore, winning games by significant margin really isn’t a big deal for Brett Brown’s team right now. Ben Simmons should return to action tonight, but we think that’s driving this point spread up a little too high and the Nets money has started to come given the Sixers opened as an eight-point favorite. Scoring guards have killed the Sixers this year and we’re thinking D’Angelo Russell has a big night for Brooklyn in another Nets’ road cover.

Clippers (+9) @ BUCKS (233.5)
Pick: Clippers +9
The Clippers might be the hottest team in the association. They’ve won six straight and 11 of their last 12 and still have a chance to catch Houston for home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Much like the Sixers, the Bucks’ playoff fate is all but secured. Milwaukee has a four-game lead on Toronto for the top seed in the East with seven games to play. Much like the Sixers, the Bucks don’t have much reason to win by double digits tonight and the way the Clippers are playing, we’re not sure the Bucks are going to win the game at all. We’ll gladly take the nine points here and roll the dice with Danilo Gallinari and company.
